🇨🇠Wer wir sind
Betta Bienne ist eine kleine Hobbyzucht im Seeland, die sich ganz dem Betta splendens widmet.
Nach ĂĽber 15 Jahren Pause von der Aquaristik bin ich im August 2025 wieder zu diesem faszinierenden Hobby zurĂĽckgekehrt. Bereits im folgendem November folgte eine erste erfolgreiche Verpaarung und damit der Start meiner eigenen Betta-Zucht. Was als RĂĽckkehr zu einer alten Leidenschaft begann, wurde schnell zu einer neuen Herausforderung: eigene Bettas zĂĽchten, aufziehen, beobachten und gezielt weiterentwickeln.
Dabei geht es nicht nur um schöne Farben und grosse Flossen. Mein Ziel ist es, gesunde, kräftige und charaktervolle Bettas zu züchten und mich mit jeder Generation weiterzuentwickeln.

Betta Bienne est un petit élevage amateur situé dans le Seeland, entièrement consacré au Betta splendens.
Après plus de 15 ans de pause dans l’aquariophilie, j’ai retrouvé cette passion fascinante en août 2025. Dès le mois de novembre suivant, une première reproduction réussie a marqué le début de mon propre élevage de Bettas. Ce qui avait commencé comme un retour à une ancienne passion est rapidement devenu un nouveau défi : élever mes propres Bettas, les observer, les sélectionner et les faire progresser de manière ciblée.
Il ne s’agit pas seulement d’obtenir de belles couleurs et de grandes nageoires. Mon objectif est d’élever des Bettas sains, robustes et avec du caractère, tout en continuant à progresser à chaque génération.

Betta Bienne is a small hobby breeding project based in the Seeland, dedicated entirely to Betta splendens.
After more than 15 years away from aquaristics, I rediscovered this fascinating hobby in August 2025. In the following November, my first successful breeding marked the beginning of my own Betta breeding project. What started as a return to an old passion quickly became a new challenge: breeding my own Bettas, raising them, observing them, selecting them and developing them purposefully.
It is not just about producing beautiful colours and large fins. My goal is to breed healthy, strong and characterful Bettas, while continuing to improve with every generation.

🇨🇠BettaBienne ist aus meiner Leidenschaft für Betta splendens entstanden. Mein langfristiges Ziel ist es, eine eigene, hochwertige Zuchtlinie aufzubauen und diese eines Tages erfolgreich bei Wettbewerben des International Betta Congress (IBC) zu präsentieren.

🇨🇠Unsere Ziele
Heute die Schweiz, morgen Europa und nächste Woche die Welt.
Mein Ziel ist ganz klar: Eines Tages werde ich mit BettaBienne Weltmeister. NatĂĽrlich geht das nicht so schnell, wie es diese drei Zeilen vermuten lassen.
Um überhaupt an einer Meisterschaft teilnehmen zu können, muss ich zuerst zwei Jahre in der Kategorie „New Breeder“ teilnehmen.
🇺🇸 Our Goals
Today Switzerland, tomorrow Europe, and next week the world.
My goal is very clear: One day, I will become World Champion with BettaBienne.
Of course, it won't happen as quickly as these three lines might suggest.
In order to participate in a championship at all, I first have to compete in the “New Breeder” category for two years.
🇫🇷 Nos objectifs
Aujourd’hui la Suisse, demain l’Europe et la semaine prochaine le monde.
Mon objectif est très clair : un jour, je deviendrai champion du monde avec BettaBienne.
Bien sûr, cela ne se fera pas aussi rapidement que ces trois lignes pourraient le laisser penser.
Pour pouvoir participer à un championnat, je dois d’abord concourir pendant deux ans dans la catégorie ”New Breeder”.
🇨🇠Wettbewerbe & Mitgliedschaft
Ich bin Mitglied im Kampffischclub Betta Helvetia und nehme am 11. Oktober 2026 mit meinen Bettas an der ZĂĽrich Betta Show 2026 teil.
Die Show findet im Rahmen der SwissFish 2026 Aquaristikmesse in Zollikon statt und dient 2026 gleichzeitig als Area 2 IBC Convention.
Das ist fĂĽr BettaBienne der erste Schritt in die Welt der Wettbewerbe.
🇫🇷 Compétitions & adhésion
Je suis membre du club de Bettas Betta Helvetia et je participerai le 11 octobre 2026 avec mes Bettas Ă le ZĂĽrich Betta Show 2026.
La compétition se déroule dans le cadre de la SwissFish 2026 Aquaristikmesse à Zollikon et sert également en 2026 de Convention IBC Area 2.
C’est pour BettaBienne le premier pas dans le monde des compétitions.

I am a member of the Betta Helvetia Betta Club and will participate on October 11, 2026, with my Bettas at the ZĂĽrich Betta Show 2026.
The show takes place as part of the SwissFish 2026 Aquatic Expo in Zollikon and also serves as the Area 2 IBC Convention in 2026.
For BettaBienne, this is the first step into the world of competitions.
